Do you have resources including books and learning materials, images, or other curriculum resources that you want to contribute? Contribute your resources here.

There are lots of resources being created by individuals and Load2Learn can help you to share the resources you create with others. This means that you and everyone else can benefit from access to a greater pool of resources without having to duplicate effort. 

 

How to contribute resources to Load2Learn

When uploading:

You MUST

  • Hold a CLA Print Disability Licence, or
  • meet the requirements of the Copyright (Visually Impaired Persons) Act 2002 and have lawful possession of the original work, or
  • have received Publisher Permission, or
  • are the copyright holding Publisher.
  • Check that no suitable commercial edition is available.
  • Check the Item you are uploading is virus free.
  • Only upload Items for the purpose of supporting visually impaired or print impaired learners.
  • Ensure that accessible changes to the Item respect the author’s intentions and do not amount to a derogatory treatment of the work.
  • Include the copyright legend and acknowledgement. This must include the name of the author and the publisher as it appears on the original from which you made the accessible copy, and a copyright statement.

You may NOT

  • Upload Items which have a suitable commercial edition available.
  • Upload Items which are on the CLA excluded works list using the CLA Print Disability Licence.

Copyright

Please note that whilst the author retains copyright in the Work, the original publisher has the exclusive publishing rights in the Work, and also has the copyright in the design, layout and typography. As such, the publisher is entitled to take legal action should illegitimate copies of the work be distributed by yourself or any third party, or should you be found otherwise in breach of their rights.

Copyright statement examples:

“This copy is made under the terms of the CLA Print Disability Licence to be used only by a print-disabled person. Except as permitted by law, it may not be further copied, nor may it be supplied to any other person, without permission.”

“This copy is made under the terms of the Copyright (Visually Impaired Persons) Act 2002 to be used only by a visually or physically print-disabled person (excluding dyslexia). Except as permitted by law, it may not be further copied, nor may it be supplied to any other person, without permission.”

“This copy is made available by Publisher Permission to be used by *blind and partially sighted people only. Except as permitted by law, it may not be further copied, nor may it be supplied to any other person, without permission.”

*change as required, for example: “dyslexic learners only” or “people with a print disability only”.

What can you contribute?

  • Published books, such as textbooks and novels – read our guide to submitting published books.
  • Non-published materials (they do not have an ISBN), such as worksheets, tests, revision sheets and word lists, of which you are the author, or have permission from the author to upload – read our guide to submitting non-published materials (not yet available).
  • Images – read our guide to submitting images.
